(1) The meeting of the board shall be held at the date, time and place determined by the chairman as per the need so that it does not occur in four times a year.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), in the absence of the chairman, the member-secretary may call a meeting of the board in consultation with the members.
(3) The executive director shall consult with the chairman and provide the information including the agenda of the board meeting to all members three days before the date of the meeting.
(4) The meeting of the Board shall be presided over by the Chairman and in his absence a member chosen by the members present from among themselves shall preside over the meeting.
(5) If more than fifty percent of the members present in the board are present, the quorum for the meeting of the board will be considered.
(6) The decision of the majority in the meeting of the board shall be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding over the meeting shall cast the deciding vote.
(7) Related officials and health insurance experts can be invited to the board meeting.
(8) The decision of the meeting of the board will be verified by the member-secretary.
(9) Other procedures related to the meeting of the Board shall be as determined by the Board.
